A blueberry chocolate bark recipe for a healthy but oh-so sweet pretty treat


Let’s face it, everyone loves chocolate. Not only is it incredibly tasty but it also creates a sensory experience like nothing else.

All you need to do is add almonds, dried rose petals, orange zest, goji berries and fresh blueberries and you take the sumptuous treat from a regular 8/10 to a 10/10 – something which is bound to make your taste buds tingle.

Blueberry chocolate bark

Ingredients

2 cups milk chocolate chips

2 tbsp slivered almonds

1 tbsp dried rose-petals

1 orange, zested

2 tbsp goji berries

¾ cup fresh blueberries

Method

1. In a metal bowl over a pan of simmering water, melt chocolate until smooth.

2. Line a 20x30cm oven tray with baking paper and carefully remove chocolate from heat and spread over the tray with a spatula.

3. Moving quickly, sprinkle with the slivered almonds, rose petals, orange zest, goji berries and blueberries over, making sure to gently press the blueberries into the chocolate.

4. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes, or until solid. Break into bite-size pieces and serve.

Keeps for one week in an airtight container in the fridge.
