Jane Fonda got super candid about her sex life at 82
A point that cannot be debated: Jane Fonda looks incredible for 82 (nearly 83). And while you might think she’d still have a wild sex life, she’s got more important things to do.
At the peak of her career, Jane Fonda was a sex symbol. And at 82, she still is. But she’s decided there are more important things to get on with than getting busy.
Tiffany Haddish, guest host of the Ellen Degeneres show, asked if Jane is looking so good for her age, she must be “having, like, crazy sex”.
To which Jane replied: “No, no, zero,” she said, shaking her head.
“I don’t have time. I’m old and I’ve had so much of it. I don’t need it right now because I’m too busy!”

She also recalled how her ex-husband Ted Turner used to joke “if you wait too long it grows over,” adding, “I think he’s right. I couldn’t have sex again even if I wanted to.”
What’s keeping the two-time Academy Award winner busy now is her political and environmental activism—for which she’s been arrested five times protesting the US’s inactivity on climate change.
In a previous interview with the New York Times, Jane revealed no one propositions her anymore, and she’s entirely OK with that.
“I’m not lonely. I’ve never been lonely. I’ve never been bored or lonely in my life,” she told reporter Maureen Dowd, she doesn’t “want any more romance” and that her children and grandchildren are all she ever needs.
But surely, she still has those carnal urges from time to time?
“I have a drawer full of vibrators,” she told the Times.
Ms Fonda, we salute you.
